List of the best color pickers for Chrome
1. Geco
You can get a color code for any color you see on a web page with the Color Picker Tool - Geco.
- Select the extension button in your toolbar.
- Hover your cursor over the color you want to identify.
- Click to save the color to the extension list.
You will then see the HEX, RGB, and HSL codes in the sections New and Picked of the extension window. Select a previous color that you identified, and you'll see these codes in the section New.

2. AKcolor.
Use the AKColor pipette tool to retrieve the color code of any site you see on the web.
- Select the extension button in your toolbar.
- Choose the pipette on the left and point your cursor to the color you want to identify.
- Click to show the color codes as well as the closest color and the average color in the area.
You'll see a nice pop-up window with color codes for RGB, RGBA, HEX, HSL, and HSLA. Choose one of the codes to copy the color values to your clipboard. Then select Pick Again or Close.

3. Pick Color.
If you're looking for a color picker that you can use elsewhere than the web, Pick Color is the tool for you.
- Select the extension button in your toolbar.
- Choose Choose your color, then select the pipette.
- Hover your cursor over the color you want to identify. It can be on a website, on your desktop, or in another application.
- Click to save the color in the extension.
You will then see the HEX, RGB, and HSL color codes in the extension window. You can copy the HEX code by selecting the copy icon to the right of the HEX code. To copy the RGB or HSL values, go down to the section below and use these copy icons.

- Right-click on the web page and select Choose a color on the page in the context menu.
- Move your cursor over the color and you'll see the HEX code attached.

4. Color Picker (by linangdata.com)

- Select the extension button in your toolbar and go to the tab Pipette.
- Choose Eyedropper and point your cursor over the color. You will see the HEX code appear when you move your cursor.
- Click to save the color to the extension list and copy the HEX code to your clipboard at the same time.
- Reopen the extension with the toolbar button and you'll see the HEX, RGB, HSL, HSV, and CMYK codes. Select the copy icon to the right of any of these codes to place them on your clipboard.

5. Eye Dropper.
Eye Dropper is a color selection option for Chrome with a few bonuses you might enjoy.
- Select the extension button in your toolbar.
- Choose Choosing a color on a web page and move your cursor over the color. As you move your cursor, you'll see the HEX and RGB values in the lower right corner of your browser window.
- Click on the color to save it to the extensions list.
- When you reopen the extension, you'll see the HEX, HSL, and RGB color codes as well as the color name in the Color section selected.

- Adjust the settings to copy to the clipboard, change the appearance of the pointer, and turn off color information when you move your cursor.
6. Black-shrimp.

- Select the extension button in your toolbar. This opens the small extension window on the left.
- Point your cursor to the color you want to identify and click.
- You will immediately see the HEX code in the window. Use the dropdown list next to the identified color to show the RGB or HSL color codes.
- To save the color, select the Plus sign at the bottom of the window.

- Export your saved colors as an ASE file (Adobe Swatch Exchange).

7. Easy Color Picker.
If you're not interested in additional features and want a simple extension, take a look at Easy Color Picker.
- Select the extension button in your toolbar.
- Choose the button Choisir at the top right and point your cursor over the color. By moving your cursor, you will see the HEX and RGB values in the lower right corner of your browser window.
- Click on the color you want, then reopen the extension with the button to show the HEX, RGB, and HSL codes.
Although there is no easy copy option for color codes, you can right-click in each box and select Copy if you need to paste the values elsewhere.
8. Colorfly Color Picker.
Similar to Easy Color Picker is Colorfly Color Picker. Enter the color, visualize the code, and copy the values if needed.
- Select the extension button in your toolbar.
- Choose the button Choose a color and point your cursor over the color. When you move your cursor, you can see the HEX and RGB values in the lower right corner of your browser window.
- Click on the color you want, and you'll see the HEX, RGB, and HSL codes in the extension window. Select any color code to copy to your clipboard.
9. Color Picker (by kipelovvycheslav).
Another core Chrome browser extension has the same name as another on our list, Color Picker, this one from kipelovvycheslav.
- Select the extension button in your toolbar.
- Point your cursor to the color you want to identify and click.
- Reopen the extension to see HEX, HSL, and RGB color codes.
10. Smart Color Picker.
A final Chrome extension, simple and without frills, is Smart Color Picker.
- Select the extension button in your toolbar.
- Choose the button Choose a color and point your cursor over the color. By moving your cursor, you will see the HEX and RGB values in the lower right corner of your browser window.
- Click on the color you want, then reopen the extension with the button to show the HEX, RGB, and HSL codes. Select any color code to copy to your clipboard.
Hopefully, at least one of these color pickers in the Chrome extension is what you need. Whether you like the extra features or prefer to keep it simple, these are all great options.
