In other words, you can't start sending hundreds of cold emails right off the bat. You should start small and gradually increase the number of emails you send each day. Another good way to “warm up” your email address is to receive and respond to emails.
Lemlist allows you to accomplish this task with ease, thanks to the automatic preparation of emails.
You can activate the “lemwarm” function by going to the “Settings” section and selecting “Email Warmup”.
The tool's “lemwarm” function allows you to define the number of emails you want to send, as well as enter the value of the daily progress increment. For example, you can start with ten emails and ask the tool to increase that number to five emails per day. If you use an existing, active email address instead of creating a new one, you can start with 100 emails and increase that number by 50 per day.

That's where Lemlist really shines.

Most people send generic cold emails that are exactly the same for every lead. The only thing that changes is the name of the prospect in the opening line. With Lemlist, you have a lot more options at your disposal.
Lemlist allows you to take advantage of liquid syntax and rotation syntax to automate entire sentences or even paragraphs, add specific filters, and introduce random variations in your emails to make them more unique and help you get the prospect's attention.
When creating emails in Lemlist, you can choose between one of the built-in templates or write a new email from scratch. We highly recommend that you check out the 35+ templates offered by the tool, as they will show you what you can do with the tool and give you ideas for your campaign.
Here is an example from the tool that shows one of the possible creative uses of dynamic images.
The idea behind these dynamic images is that you can personalize them for each prospect. In the screenshot above, you can see that the ideas are not actually written on the board. However, that doesn't mean you have to write them down manually for each lead.
You can set up the tool to retrieve the company name for each recipient, as well as to create a list of reasons, pain points, or solutions that Lemlist can retrieve and add to the images in each email. This is just one example, but the principle is the same if you want to use screenshots, company logos, emojis, or any other image that might catch their attention.
Lemlist also allows you to add clickable video thumbnails to your cold emails. That said, this feature isn't as mind-blowing as we initially thought. It does not allow you to embed the video in the email, but rather to attack the link to the image. In other words, you need to create the thumbnail yourself - find an image, download the YouTube play button in PNG format and add it to the image, and then add the link to an existing video.
It's a bit of extra work that could generate a ton of clicks. After all, we all love videos. If you have great videos on your channel and want to generate YouTube traffic with your cold emails, we highly recommend taking advantage of this feature.
Before sending the emails, you can also select the “Manual Review” option to personalize individual emails for specific prospects if you want to make the emails even more personalized.
3. Automation
When planning your prospecting campaigns, you want to have maximum flexibility.
It's not enough to choose a time of day for the tool to send emails to all of your prospects at the same time. The time you send emails can have a big impact on your delivery capacity, so it's always good to have the opportunity to experience different times.
That's exactly what Lemlist offers! When you access the programming portion of your campaign, you have the option of selecting a time slot, for example between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Lemlist will then use its sending algorithm to test different times and adapt its sending models according to the results.
You can also check the days you want to send the emails to, as well as the maximum number of “future friends” - the term Lemlist uses to refer to prospects - who will receive the emails.
By setting the maximum number of recipients, you can create multiple calendars and test different times, or send different campaigns at different times. You can also set the time between the first email and the follow-up emails to prevent your emails from appearing to be spam and to ensure that you don't annoy your prospects by constantly appearing in their inboxes.
Email Tracking
Lemlist allows you to create automated email sequences, in order to be able to relaunch your prospects after sending the initial prospecting email. You can personalize each email in the sequence, change the order of the emails, and add or remove emails at any time.
The tool also allows you to save your most effective emails as templates for later use. Another option offered by Lemlist is to define conditions for removing prospects from a sequence. For example, if a lead clicks a link or replies to an email, the tool can remove their email address from the sequence.
This function is useful because you don't want to keep spamming them with follow-up emails if they have already converted or performed a desired action. The tool alerts you immediately when the criteria are met, so you can take over and manually contact your prospect.
The only thing missing is the ability to forward a lead to a different email sequence once they click a link or respond to your email.
This problem is alleviated somewhat by the fact that Lemlist you allows you to create dynamic landing pages and include links to them in your cold emails. You can embed videos on these landing pages or invite prospects to make an appointment with your business.
You can also include links to your existing landing and product pages in emails. Note that unless they sign up or make a purchase, you'll need to manually add their email address to your autoresponder if you want to start sending them more promotional emails.
4. Lemwarm
Lemwarm is a very popular Lemlist feature that will help you improve deliverability. When cold emails are non-personalized, the body of the email remains the same. That means the same email is sent to thousands of people. Email providers like Gmail block this volume of emails and filter them out of spam. The computer server that sent these emails is placed on the Google blacklist and all future emails from that server and this particular email address are automatically filtered out of spam.
Tools like Lemwarm try to improve the reputation of the computer server and the email address used. Lemwarm sends emails from the blacklisted server to a selected group of recipients. Spam emails are then marked as “not spam” and moved to the main inbox. The number of recipients is counted in hundreds or even thousands. When messages are marked as not spam on such a scale, Gmail, Outlook, and other email providers are led to believe that the blacklisted server is no longer sending spam. Within a few weeks, as messages are marked as not spam, the server's reputation improves and it is removed from the blacklist.
If emails are personalized from the start, each email will be unique. So you won't need Lemwarm anymore. However, if you have email deliverability issues, Lemwarm is here to help. It is also recommended that you use Lemwarm for new email addresses and servers to improve their reputation with email providers.
5. Customized subject and content
Lemlist allows you to develop a strong bond with your prospects by helping you create personalized emails based on what the prospect likes or dislikes. Lemlist even allows you to create custom images, videos, and landing pages so that your customers can identify with your content. If you want to create beautiful personalized emails and personalized images and videos, you should definitely opt for Lemlist. However, Lemlist has limited customization options that we'll cover toward the end.
6. Automated email tracking
This prospecting software now makes it easy to follow up on your first emails. Your prospect may not respond to your email because they are busy, forgot to type their response, or your email got lost in the hundreds of emails they receive daily. The editor LemList is a feature that allows you to create and launch new awareness campaigns. The other tabs take you to tasks, reports, and email warm-ups that help you plan and improve your campaigns.

I took the time to highlight these features because it's quite rare to find them in other email outreach tools. The type of emojis you use when reaching out to prospects can really have an impact on how the message is received.

But of course, there are those who prefer to take a more formal approach to email outreach, and that's fine. However, a small change would be welcome!
So, back to the campaigns...
The process of developing an email awareness campaign is divided into 5 main steps.
These steps are all fairly simple, but I'm going to walk you through each one so you can get the most out of the experience. LemList.
Leads
There are three ways to add leads to your sales funnel.
