How to do this Growth Hack and what can it do for you?
OK, of all my suggestions, this is probably the most brazen when it comes to marketing on LinkedIn.
LinkedIn is about vanity and persuasion.
The (mainly) B2B platform is a gold mine if you do the right thing when it comes to lead generation.

- Growth Hack Type: LinkedIn algorithm hack
- Expected results: Strengthening your personal branding, engagement on your posts, and indirectly visits to your Linkedin profile
Why use this Growth Hack?
For obvious reasons, LinkedIn favors active accounts that have a large number of followers. But how do you accumulate tens of thousands of followers? Easy. Lie
Sure, you can buy followers or patiently get a decent number of followers, but this hack takes less than five seconds.
How do you do this Growth Hack?
Here's how to do it.
When you exceed the magic number of 500 followers, LinkedIn simply adds a “500+ Connections” piece of text next to your name.
A casual observer of your profile has no way of knowing how many connections and followers you actually have. So search engine marketing here is about changing your profile tag, which is so important, to something like this:
“Your Job Title | 97K Followers”
(Always use odd numbers, for whatever reason they give better results).
I guarantee that no one will want to validate your request (you can check by digging into the settings) but they won't because they will be too impressed and want to connect with you.
In fact, many people will send you connection requests directly only when they see this vanity metric.
Why would they want to connect with you more? Because connecting with someone who feels like they have a huge network also increases their reach.
With this cheeky little trick, you'll see your new connections pour in. LinkedIn will notice this and perpetuate your growth by promoting you.
